UlSTU scientists presented the results of new research at the IX World Conference on Soft Computing

The international conference on soft computing WConSC’24 was held in Baku, Azerbaijan from September 25 to 28. A delegation of scientists from Ulyanovsk State Technical University, headed by Rector Nadezhda Yarushkina, presented the results of new research.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nadezhda Yarushkina spoke at the plenary session of the conference. In her report, Nadezhda Yarushkina spoke about the approach to designing functions for production management based on data analysis. During the three days of the conference, Nadezhda Yarushkina acted as the head and moderator of several sections.

"The conference is being held at a time of increased attention to the problems of artificial intelligence, its application in the economy and industry. The Scientific School of Ulyanovsk State Technical University has extensive experience in carrying out research on the problems of creating intelligent systems that have already found application in many fields of technology. Together with leading researchers, engineers and practitioners at the conference, we exchanged the latest achievements in various fields of soft computing and discussed their future," said Nadezhda Yarushkina, Rector of UlSTU.

The international conference dedicated to the legacy of the outstanding scientist, Honorary Professor of UlSTU Lutfi Zadeh, brought together scientists and specialists from about 30 countries of the world. The participants discussed a wide range of issues related to such areas as soft computing, fuzzy logic and fuzzy clusters, uncertainty in cognition, neural networks and hybrid architecture, cognitive modeling and other issues.
