The annual New Year's meeting of the student activists with the Rector of the university Nadezhda Yarushkina took place on December 23 in the congress hall of T.L. Stenina "Center for Science and Culture". Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs Guzel Shigabetdinova and Chairman of the regional trade union organization Tatiana Tverdokhleb also took part in the event.

" We are starting not only the transition from the semester to the winter session, but we are all preparing for the New Year in different formats, including meeting with you in order to sum up the results of the outgoing year.  Thanks to the activities of the student activists, the university manages to achieve significant success in creativity, science and sports. I am sure that in the New Year, with your work, you will benefit the student community, your native University, the Ulyanovsk region and our Homeland" - Rector of UlSTU Nadezhda Yarushkina greeted the students.

At the meeting there was a ceremony of awarding certificates to the most active students in the development of student government, scientific, creative and sports life of the university, as well as students involved in career guidance activities, implementation of information policy. In addition, awards were given to activists involved in the civic-patriotic education of young people engaged in the implementation of digital and technological projects, assisting in the social protection of students and participating in the activities of student squads.
