An expanded final meeting of the governing council of the World-class research and educational Center (REC) "Engineering of the Future" was held in Samara. The co-chair of the Governing Council of REC, Rector of UlSTU Nadezhda Yarushkina took part in it in a remote format.
Representatives of executive authorities, relevant ministries, universities from different regions - participants in REC spoke about the results for 2022 and shared plans for promising projects.
UlSTU conducts scientific and technological activities in several committees of REC: on artificial intelligence, advanced transport systems, new materials. Following the meeting, it was decided to create a new committee on micro- and radio electronics, which will include key participants - UlSTU and SamGTU. The activities of the committee will be aimed at active joint work of the scientific community and industrial partners.
Recall that the World-class research and educational Center "Engineering of the Future" unites six regions: Samara, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Tambov regions, Mordovia and Chuvashia. The center's activities are focused on the development of various areas: new generation propulsion and fuel systems, artificial intelligence, smart transport systems, aerospace technologies, the sector of new engineering competencies and others.
